Michael J. Kalous

We come from light into a dimmer world where doubt, questions, wonder, and awe exist in each breath. We walk upon the earth and long to fly. Each day brings new questions, few answers, and the deep knowledge that there is something more. We therefore seek to know the truth and the meaning of love. Our first step is toward the end which is but one more step. It is in the in-between space where our story is written and our path leads once again to light or to darkness. Do we seek the One who gives us life? Do we listen for the Voice that calls? Or have we forgotten what is written on our hearts and wander, already dead, disconnected from the Giver of life? Each new day is a new opportunity to make a different choice. Instead of striving to find life, love, and hope within ourselves, we must believe the words of Christ, and battle the darkness within to speak those things into the lives of others. This way alone is the path to the Oneness we seek. This ability comes only from the God who is love. And, Love is an outward energy. We receive what we desire by giving it away. No longer alone, we exist in everlasting union with God, with our brothers and sisters, and arrive at that place of peace, love, and joy our hearts longed for, innocent once again. Praise to the Lord Almighty for His grace and mercy. Love to you all. Michael

Fear

When we feel moved or called to produce a book or something else that could be helpful to others, which is our calling as Christians, we too often fall prey to fear.

Reborn

Bound in chains of self-regret, I find myself alone. Only God, of His own will, can reconstruct my heart.
